This brand new smart LED integral security floodlight has just landed at Superlux.
This new outdoor lighting solution has 2 automatic modes: 240 degree PIR or Dusk untill Dawn.
If using the Dusk until Dawn mode; this mode uses a photocell sensor to detect light. Meaning the unit can detect the absence of light and automatically 'Turn On' the light at sunset; and automatically turn off the light when the sun rises. Ensuring power will not be wasted during the day. This mode can be handy for continuous security lighting to deter loitering or vandalism.
Alternatively; you can use the PIR (Passive InfaRed Sensor) mode which detects motion when a person walks passed the sensor. The PIR senses a change of InfaRed heat energy and automatically 'Turns On'. This allows light to come on automatically when you need it; therefore saving energy usage. The PIR has a maximum 240 degree detection range and is most suitable to residential areas where nuisance light should be kept down to a minimum.
In PIR mode; you can chose to set the light on time; at 1; 3 or 10 minutes. The distance range can be set at 10; 15 or 20 metres.
Plus; it also has a manual override ability!
Our new LED Security Floodlight is made from die cast aluminium and ideal for under eave or wall mounting.
